The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.

Don’t let last night’s wet weather put you off coming to the railway! The sun is making its way out of the clouds and the forecast is great! 🌞 Our guys are at the railway prepping for the day! Trains start at 12.30 with the last at 4.50. See you there! Choo choo!!
It’s never completely plain sailing on the railways, mostly because we’re trains and not boats. 🤭 Our plan to run Davanna today took a left turn as she needs a new baffle plate fitted which needs shaving to size. Our fantastic volunteers are sorting this out as we speak, while Phoenix takes charge of the passenger trains! 👍
The sun’s out for another glorious day! We’re aiming to have our steam loco, Davanna, out and about today, as well as our lovely trusty old Phoenix loco. Ticket office will be open from 12.30 with the last train at 4.50 - come along for a ride on the oldest pub garden miniature railway!
Happy Friday! Most of our children went back to school this week, so why not treat them to a ride around our little railway! Ticket office opens at 12.30 and we’ll be running with Phoenix during the afternoon! Please note that on Saturday our last train will be at 3.30 due to a private event.
