The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.
Our volunteers are all ready to go! Trains run from now until 4.50 - come along and take a ride!! ☺️🚂
Exciting future ahead for our little railway! Today we took possession of more track with the intention to add to the railway in the future! There’s a lot of work to be done for this, and more track to buy as well as ground to prepare. But the 25+ year plan to add a second loop is finally in sight!!

Welcome to Friday! We’ve got another glorious weekend ahead of us, so pop along to the Fancott for some fun on the rails of history! Rides start at 12.30 with the last at 4.50. As always, just £3 per person per ride. Please note that, due to the heat, our fabulous volunteers will be taking short comfort breaks to keep cool and hydrated, so please be patient with us! What a fantastic weekend, and especially today when over 20 vehicles arrived to join our Classic event! Thank you to everyone who visited us this weekend! Normal service will resume next weekend, with trains running from 12.30 on Saturday and Sunday! Keep an eye out for future events! ☺️
