The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
What a gorgeous weekend ahead of us of sunshine and trains! Our railway is run completely by volunteers and, especially during this warmer weather, we need to take care of them and ensure they’re given some time for refreshment and rest. We aim to run continuously from midday until 4.50pm every weekend, however sometimes we run with a very small team and it’s important they all get the chance to rest during their shift, especially on these hot days! We hope you all understand! HOHOHO! Santa has confirmed his date with the FMR - Sunday 7 and Sunday 14 December, every hour and half past the hour from 1pm. Just £10 per person which includes a festive ride behind a steam engine and a gift from Santa! This event is pre-booking only so hurry to secure your place! (Payment is at booking.) This year we’re celebrating 50 years of miniature rail at the Fancott with commemorative car stickers. Just £2.50 each, they complement any and every car windscreen, side window or back window. They even look good on a window in your home if you don’t have a car! Ask at our ticket office about these and other souvenirs.
