The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
2025 sees us celebrating 50 years of trains at the Fancott pub, a much more common sight in pub gardens than it is today! While others closed their gates and sold off their locos and rolling stock, we’ve remained open. Our railway is run completely by volunteers who dedicate their time, resources and often money, to maintain the railway and offer something special to our visitors. We are not owned by the pub and do not rely on income from them.
