The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over half a century in one form or another.
It’s our last Wednesday of the summer holidays, and we’ll be open this afternoon from 12.30, with the last train at 3.50.
If you haven’t already heard, we’re building another loop at our railway!! This has been our dream for 26 years and FINALLY, it’s becoming a reality. While we’ve managed to get track and sleepers, we still need to raise the funds for machinery and stone needed to prepare the track and lay the stone. If you can spare a few pounds to help us, it will be appreciated! Please share with your family and friends and tell them all about us! 🥰

Thank you to all our visitors today! It was great to welcome you! Did you spot the new loop being cleared in the trees? If you haven’t see it yet, make sure you take a look! This loop has been in the plans for over 26 years and we’re finally at the point of building! We still have a way to go: we’ve managed to get the track but we still need to raise funds for the ballast and machinery to finish the ground work.
