Today was the last day of our running season!! It’s been a fantastic season with loads going on around the railway, all thanks to our amazing volunteers!! Thank you to everyone who came along for a visit to our little railway and celebrating the summer with us! Don’t forget, we’ll be opening up for Halloween on October 30th, as well as our Santa trains - keep an eye open for these special events. Thank you all and if we don’t see you before, we’ll see you on Mothers’ Day 2027! 🥰 🚂

It was a glorious day at the railway today with the pub’s FanFest!! Lots of people came along to join in the fun - a great way to spend the railway’s penultimate day of the season! Tomorrow’s the last day of our public running, and we plan to have our steamie, Davanna, out and about! Make sure you join us - train’s start at 12.30 with the last at 4.50. Choo Choo! 🚂

Today is the pub’s Fan Fest, a day of family fun and music! £5 in advance, or £10 at the gates, for entry to the event - this does NOT include the railway! Ask at the ticket office about special rate tickets! Our trains start at 1pm today with the last train into the evening.
What a fun day we had today playing pirates to celebrate Talk Like A Pirate Day 2026! We had so much fun we’re already planning how we’re going to decorate the trains next year!!
