Another day at the railway for a few of our volunteers. This time of year it’s all about maintenance and fixing engines, and that’s exactly what our merry band have been doing. Phoenix has had a little tweaking today, while Dark Star had a bit of TLC earlier in the week. Red Dwarf has been dismantled ready for maintenance and a rebuild (keep an eye out for updates) and Herby is awaiting new bearings. Pippa’s new gear box has been fitted onto the mount ready for the next stage. It’s all happening at the FMR! #volunteersmakeadifference #miniaturerailway #WinterMaintenance
