The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
Just a polite reminder ball games are NOT allowed - it’s a hazard for the pub staff and also the railway if a ball goes over the fence, potentially derailing a passenger train. Please don’t let your children bring balls along - it’s a pub garden for everyone, not a football pitch. Thank you all for your understanding and support! It’s going to be a scorcher of a weekend ahead of us, making it perfect for relaxing in a country pub garden and riding the rails of the oldest pub garden miniature railway! Please be patient as, in the expected heatwave, we want to take care of our amazing volunteers with regular rest breaks through the afternoon! Gates open at 12.30 with the last train at 4.50! When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it, or it's been deleted.As we head towards another bank holiday weekend we’re looking forward to the glorious sunshine it will bring! Our little trains will run from Saturday right through to Monday! No need for booking - just come along to the ticket office when you’re ready to ride! Just £3 per person per ride, under 2s free! Our gates open at 12.30 with the last train at 4.50.
