The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
Our last train is now 3.50 as we’re closing early today as it’s been a very quiet day at the railway. Thanks for visiting everyone!
We have a choice of trains out today! If you like it hot and full of steam then get along for a ride behind Davanna. If you enjoy something a little more compact but still got some oomph, have a ride with Scamp ‘Jackie’. Last train at 4.50!
Happy Bank Holiday Monday and welcome to another day of playing trains! We’re planning to have our steamie, Davanna, back out today as well as two Scamps, Jackie and Sammy, top and tailing too. Gates open at 12.30 with the last train at 4.50. Just £3 per person per ride with under 2s free! Get along for some fun at the oldest pub garden miniature railway in the UK!!
Some of our volunteers have set up camp at the Leighton Buzzard May Day festival for the day! Come and say hello if you’re over this way! Don’t forget, our little railway is open all day too with Scamps and steam hauling out passengers! ☺️
Another fun day at the Fancott for our volunteers and visitors, and the weather held out again! Don’t forget we’ll be open again tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, for more of the same. Make your way down - one of our members, Neil, will be bringing his Scamp ‘Jackie’ to take passengers out, hopefully top and tailing with Scamp ‘Sammy’, all alongside our steamie, Davanna. ☺️
