The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.

Happy Bank Holiday Monday and welcome to another day of playing trains! We’re planning to have our steamie, Davanna, back out today as well as two Scamps, Jackie and Sammy, top and tailing too. Another fun day at the Fancott for our volunteers and visitors, and the weather held out again! Don’t forget we’ll be open again tomorrow, Bank Holiday Monday, for more of the same. Make your way down - one of our members, Neil, will be bringing his Scamp ‘Jackie’ to take passengers out, hopefully top and tailing with Scamp ‘Sammy’, all alongside our steamie, Davanna. ☺️ ... Do you leave the boiler full or empty when in store? I use to remove the fire at the end of the day but I now just let it die down on its own gradually then remove the front and grate the next day when cold. Makes it very quick to do and there is not the sudden rush of cold air over the tubes
