Welcome to The Fancott Miniature Railway
The Oldest Miniature Railway located on the grounds of a Public House, The Fancott Miniature Railway (FMR) is a 7¼ inch miniature railway located in the gardens of The Fancott Public House near Toddington, Bedfordshire. There has been a railways on the grounds of The Fancott Pub for over 30 years in one form or another.
It’s a very sad day at the FMR as we say goodbye and goodnight to two amazing members of the family. Dougie Brewer passed away on February 1st and Keith Dalkin passed away early this morning.
Both Dougie and Keith were committed members of the Fancott, helping to run and transform it into the railway we have today. In the last few years Keith had taken on the role of Chair and, despite the challenges he faced with his health, had worked tirelessly for the railway and volunteers, helping to secure its future for all to enjoy.
Both Keith and Dougie will be missed by everyone who knew them and had the pleasure of working alongside them at the FMR. Thank you. ❤️
